Horrible Venue Equals Horrible Rufus Du Sol Experience
At the DC Armory in Washington DC, I had the worst concert experience ever. The venue was so extremely horrible that it overshadowed the concert. The drinks line was even worse and the venue became so hot. The venue only had 2 sets of restrooms, each with massive lines. I was excited to see Cold play there. So I was excited to see them at the DC Armory in Washington DC. I have seen Cold when they played Red Rocks in Denver. The drinks line was impossible to even get water, everyone was getting so dehydrated. Given the swamp-like environment, no access to drinks, and no access to restrooms made it impossible to enjoy the show. Toward the end of the night, the venue realized that and stopped selling water, set up a water station in the back and started walking around giving bottles out. I feel bad for the women in our group because they were in line for the entire concert and we arrived early. It was literally the worst concert experience I have ever had. I only remember the horrible place I was in. Probably 3rd or 4th best show I have ever seen in my life. I don't even remember Cold playing at all, I will never attend a show at the DC Armory ever again and I'm very mad I paid money to go here as well as forever have a bad memory associated with Cold. It was a transcendent experience. But that was already too late, wasn't enough to remedy the bad experience.
